Travel Search Plug-in
Summary
This plug-in gives your users an ability to plan their trips, explore destinations and sights, find needed airfares, get reviews for hotels. It gets results from Yahoo! in HTML format. Then it parses them with the help of fast parsing techniques and shows the result page to user in compliance with the given design.
How does it work?
For example, user wants to go to Paris. He has to type word “Paris” in the search field and press the search button. As a result he'll receive a page containing links with information about destination and names of different tour companies. To choose a page where the proper information is located you should click on the link.
Admin area features
- Possibility to change the number of listings displayed on the result page
- Possibility to change the length of Url Displayed On the result page
- Possibility to change request parameters in a base Url for tripSearch (to examine the main features and possibilities go to http://developer.yahoo.com/travel/tripservice/V1/tripSearch.html)
