SmartPPC Travel Search Plug-in
The Travel Search Plug-in lets you expand the search possibilities of your system. By putting the Travel Search plug-in on your site your visitors will easily be able to plan their trips, explore destinations and sights, find needed airfares and get reviews for hotels. By providing modern search features for travel files you will attract new visitors to your website and keep your old members in the system. The Travel Search plug-in obtains results from Yahoo and then displays search results to a visitor in accordance with the given graphic design.
How does it work?
After the Travel Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your visitors will see a travel search box on the page. To find travel files they simply type search terms into the search box and click the "Search" button. The plug-in will find travel files which have the search terms in the title, alt-text, etc. attributes. The visitor will receive a page with a list of these travel files sorted by relevance.
How to manage Travel Search Plug-in?
In the Search tab of Administrator’s Control Panel a new "Search Type – Travel" will be enabled after the Travel Search Plug-in is installed. Here the Administrator can manage the following settings:
- Change title of the search type
- Create a description of the search type
- Adjust the search settings (number of search results per page etc.).
- Manage XML Feeds Settings
- Manage Organic Search Settings
- Manage various social functions
- Integrate graphic design into the travel search page etc.
Additional Information
We use Yahoo as a provider of content for Travel Search. If you wish to use another travel content provider we can enable that for you. We can also offer you custom improvements to the Travel Search plug-in. Please contact us for details.
