SmartPPC People Search Plug-in
The People Search Plug-in lets you expand the search possibilities of your system. By putting the People Search plug-in on your site your visitors will be able to search the Internet for other people. By providing modern search features for persons files you will attract new visitors to your website and keep your old members in the system. The People Search plug-in obtains results from People.Yahoo.com and then displays search results to a visitor in accordance with the given graphic design.
How does it work?
After the People Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your visitors will see people search box on the page. To find a person they simply type search name and surname of that person into the search box and click the "Search" button. The plug-in will find people which have the search terms. The visitor will receive a page with a list of these people sorted by relevance.
How to manage People Search Plug-in?
In the Search tab of Administrator’s Control Panel a new "Search Type – People" will be enabled after the People Search Plug-in is installed. Here the Administrator can manage the following settings:
- Change the title of the search type
- Create a description of the search type
- Adjust the search settings (number of search results per page etc.).
- Manage XML Feeds Settings
- Manage Organic Search Settings
- Manage various social functions
- Integrate graphic design into the people search page etc.
