SmartPPC Audio Search Plug-in
The Audio Search Plug-in lets you expand the search possibilities of your system. By putting the Audio Search plug-in on your site your visitors will easily be able to search for audio files in the following formats: MP3, WAV, WMA, and Real Audio. By providing modern search features for audio files you will attract new visitors to your website and keep your old members in the system. The Audio Search plug-in obtains results from Alltheweb and then displays search results to a visitor in accordance with the given graphic design.
How does it work?
After the Audio Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your visitors will see an audio search box on the page. To find audio files they simply type search terms into the search box and click the "Search" button. The plug-in will find audio files which have the search terms in the title, alt-text, etc. attributes. The visitor will receive a page with a list of these audio files. The list will contain the title, size, date and format of each audio file found.
How to manage Audio Search Plug-in?
In the Search tab of Administrator’s Control Panel a new "Search Type – Audio" will be enabled after the Audio Search Plug-in is installed. Here the Administrator can manage the following settings:
- Change title of the search type
- Create a description of the search type
- Adjust the search settings (number of audio search results per page etc.).
- Manage XML Feeds Settings
- Manage Organic Search Settings
- Manage various social functions
- Integrate graphic design into the audio search page etc.
