Proxy Validator Plug-in
This plug-in was created to filter out proxy traffic and determine open proxy servers.
Due to the newest protection system you will be able to clean out your traffic from proxy.
How does this system work:
- We store all IP addresses of visitors which make searches and clicks;
- Then we analyze the statistics of searches and clicks and find out how many clicks and searches were made from each IP address.
- We provide SmartPPC administrator with ability to examine each IP address for proxy server.
Although SmartPPC has the basic feature which allows to make a check for proxy while searches and clicks, Proxy Validator acts as addition to basic function which is able to determine proxy visitors much more accurately.
The basic principles of working of Proxy Validator are follows:
- SmartPPC administrator is offered with the list of ports. They are 10 of most popular ports by default which are used by proxy.
- Then Proxy Validator tries to connect to server by each of proposed ports. The unique feature of Proxy Validator that it tries to connect to server and obtain test page.
- If Proxy Validator is able to connect at least by one port it marks current server as proxy.
- Admin has several ways to go. For example, he may add current server to Proxy Servers List or reject all earnings from current IP address.
