As an organization, we knew what we wanted. We were basically looking for a search engine script similar to one of the big search engine firm. We looked and found smartppc. I communicated with Jakob for a while. We exchanged a lot of e-mails because i wanted to know what i was getting myself involved and also i wanted more informations on smartppc ... whether i wanted my own spider engine database or using existing search engine results. I've spent a month or so testing the demos for as many ppc scripts as I could find. I haven't seen them all and probably need to go back and retest the ones below. I invested about $12,000 in programming of other software this year and every time I need a little change its back to the checkbook. I want to launch a niche ppc soon on the cheap side for testing. If it works, I'll spend whatever it takes for a custom app.
I have looked at some of the more expensive engines, but in the sub $150, category, these seem to have everything you'd need to get off the ground. However, I'd love to see as many people rate them as possible here. And feel free to suggest some others as well.

Before purchasing Smart PPC I had purchased a $2500 script that the tech could not get installed and it did not have near the features that Smart PPC does, which I ended up requesting a refund.The thing that I like most about Smart PPC is their ability to cutomize the script to grow with your business, it's like having a sports car with just the needed features that you can customized to a full blown hot rod at any time needed.

Why buy an outdated CGI script when for not much more you can start an A+ Google competitor.
