For Orbit Shopping installation you can use: Orbitscripts hosting (recommended), Dedicated Server.
You don’t have to worry about all these requirements if you order our hosting!

Hardware System Requirements

Hardware Requirements depend straight on the number of used products. The more products the more HDD and RAM will be needed. Hardware system requirements are next:

• Pentium/Xeon series processors
• 2 GB RAM
• 10 GB of hard disk space

Server PHP Requirements:

• PHP 4.3.9 or later
• Server API must be Apache
• Safe Mode must be Off (at least Local Value but better if both Local and Global values will be Off)
• Register Globals must be On (at least Local Value but better if both Local and Global values will be On)
• Allow Url Fopen must be On (at least Local Value but better if both Local and Global values will be On)
• Disable Functions must be No value (at least Local Value but better if both Local and Global values will be No value)
• Magic Quotes Gpc must be Off (at least Local Value but better if both Local and Global values will be Off)
• PHP must be supported GD, Freetype, GIF, JPG, PNG, ICONV, Mysql libraries
• Zend Optimizer 2.5.10 or later

Server MySQL Requirements:

• Mysql server 4.0.x or later

Server Java Requirements:

• Java 1.4.x or later

Server System Requirements:

• Supported platforms:
  • Fedora Core
  • CentOS
  • RedHat Enterprise
• Supported Web Servers:
  • Apache 1.3.x
  • Apache 2.0.x

Note!

Sometimes there are cases when your server fully suits for Orbit Shopping installation but Linux compiled in such a way that our software may work not correctly (for example, some of required libraries are not installed). Our interference is required in this case in order to find out the problem and solve it as soon as possible.
