Orbit Search Plug-ins allow you to extend your system functionality beyond the standard features, enabling you to provide your users with new services.
If you have already purchased Orbit Search, you can easily expand the system with any of our plug-ins.
Each plug-in has separate settings which allow you to customize them according to your needs.
At the moment, we're developing new plug-ins soon to be released on our site.

The AdServer Plug-in combines all functional abilities and features of the Orbit AdServer system. After the AdServer Plug-in is integrated with Orbit Search, Advertisers will have the ability to register themselves in your system, create ad campaigns, create and manage ads, specify keywords for each ad and begin displaying their ads in search results on your site. You earn revenue from each click generated by users on advertisers' ads.
Once the Answers Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see an Answer Search box on their homepage. To get answers, they simply type their question into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will return answers; as well as related questions submitted by other users.
Once the Article Search Plug-in is integrated into your system,
your users gain access to an Article Search box. To find an article,
they simply type their search terms into the search box and click the
“Search” button. The plug-in will find articles related to their search
terms. Users simply click the articles that interest them to read that text.
Once the Audio Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see an Audio Search box on their home page. Users simply input their search terms and click the “Search” button. (Tip: To get the best results, you should type the name of the artist/band, or the song title - not both.) After users have run their query, the Audio Search Plug-in will return a list of Audio files that match their search terms.
Once the Blog Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Blog Search box on their homepage. Users just enter their search terms into the search box and click “Search” to find blog posts that match their search query. The plug-in will automatically return a list of the blog posts it finds.
Once the Bookmarks Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see the Bookmarks Search box on their homepage. Users simply type their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will find bookmarks with those search terms in attributes such as title, alt-text, etc.
Once the Books Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Books Search box added to their homepage. Users simply type their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will find books with content that matches their search terms. Links to those books will appear in their search results.
Once the Custom Search Plug-in is integrated into your system,
administrators can easily designate new search types by specifying
things like topic/website/file type/keywords/domain extension.
Users will have access to all of the search types you create for
your site. To initiate a search, users must select a search type then
enter their search terms into the search box and click the “Search”
button. Results will be returned for the search parameters you define.
Once the Encyclopedia Search Plug-in is integrated into your system,
your users will see an Encyclopedia Search box on the page. Users
simply enter their search terms into the search box and click the
“Search” button. The plug-in will find a list of results related to your
users' search terms.
Once the Forum Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Forum Search box on their homepage. Users simply enter the search terms that best describe the information they seek into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will produce a results page with a list of relevant discussions and debates from forum-services.
Once the FTP Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, an FTP Search box will be added to users' homepages. Users simply enter their search terms, including any keyword and/or filename, into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will find all FTP files related to their search query. Users may download their chosen files right from their search results list.
After the Jobs Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Job Search box on their homepage. Users simply enter keywords (job title, company, skills) in the keyword field and type a location (city, state or zip) into the location box, then click the “Search” button. The plug-in will return results that contain all job listings that match users' search terms. When users see jobs that interest them, they simply click the link for the job title to get more information.
Once the Local Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see the Local Search box on their homepage. Users simply type in keywords related to their search query in the keyword field and enter a location (address, city, state or zipcode) in the location box, then click the «Search» button. The search engine will return a list of businesses with addresses and phone numbers along with a map that shows the locations of the business that match their search terms.
When the Multi-Language Plug-in is integrated into your system, users choose the language in which they wish to view the interface of your site and system.
Once the People Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users
will see the People Search Box on their homepage. Users simply enter the
First Name and/or Last Name of the person they are looking for and click
the «Search» button. The plug-in will return results that contain
information on the people in their search query.
Once the SEO Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your search
pages will have search engine friendly URLs and HTML code that will
optimize your site to rank higher in search engine results.
Once the Shopping Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Shopping Search box on their homepage. Users simply enter search terms for the product they are looking for into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will return results related to their query. When users click the link for the product title they choose they will be re-directed to that vendor's website.
Once the Software Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Software Search box added to their homepage. Users simply enter keywords that describe the software they seek into the keyword search field, select the appropriate category from the dropdown menu and click the «Search» button. The results page will contain a list of software items related to their search terms. Users click the link for the software title they desire which will take them to the site that offers that software. There they can buy or download their program.
Once the SpellCheck Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users requests will be checked for spelling accuracy. Users simply enter their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. When the SpellCheck software sees that users will get more relevant results using an alternative spelling, it asks, “Did you mean: (more common spelling)?”. If the user clicks on an alternative word a new search is initiated using this new keyword.
Once the Torrent Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Torrent Search box added to their homepage. Users simply type their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. Users will see search results from the top bittorrent index sites listed in a single results page. To access a file, users click the link for that torrent file title. They will be re-directed to that torrent site where they can download their desired torrent file.
Once the Travel Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Travel Search box added to their homepage. Users simply enter search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will provide users with information regarding countries, cities, airline tickets, hotels, cruises and more.
Once the Twitter Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Twitter Search box on the page. To find information contained in tweets, users simply enter their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. Users will see a list of tweets that contain their search terms.
Once the Video Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a Video Search box on their homepage. To find video files users simply type their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will provide your users with results for video clips related to their search terms. Each video clip listing will contain information on its title, size, date, format etc.
Once the XXX Search Plug-in is integrated into your system, your users will see a XXX Search box on their homepage. To find XXX files users simply enter their search terms into the search box and click the “Search” button. The plug-in will provide your users with XXX results related to their search terms.
