Requirements

You will need to make sure your server meets or exceeds the minimal requirements for running Orbit Ad Server. If your server does not meet these requirements, contact us and we will install and configure all the necessary software on your server.

Minimum Hardware

  • Celeron 1.3GHz processor
  • 256MB RAM
  • 500MB of hard disk space

Recommended Hardware

  • Pentium/Xeon series processors
  • 1GB RAM
  • 5GB of hard disk space

PHP

  • PHP 5.2.0 or later
  • PHP modules: curl, gettext, mbstring, pdo (pdo-sqlite, pdo-mysql), iconv, simplexml, soap, json, GD
  • PHP setting: allow_url_fopen=on, disable_functions=no, enable_dl=on, safe_mode=off
  • Zend Optimizer 3.3.0 or later

MySQL

  • MySql server 5.0.x or later

Note! Even if your server meets the minimum requirements, Orbit Ad Server may still work incorrectly if Linux is compiled in an incompatible manner (for example, some of the required libraries are not installed). If that happens, don't worry! We will help you find the issue and resolve it as soon as possible.
