My Portal consists of following parts at present:

System administrator adds categories and sites from where system should get the news (using RSS). System obtains news from added sites with frequency that was specified by administrator and puts them into database. User chooses what categories of news he wants to be displayed and quantity of news from each category. Chosen news will be displayed in "News" element. -
Tickers.
User can place here several stock tickers. By clicking on those tickers he will be redirected to YahooTickers where he will be able to get more information about chosen ticker. -
Weather.
User sets his geographic location. System displays the weather for current day and weather forecasting for tomorrow. -
Horoscope.
User specifies his birth date. System gives him links to the horoscopes for current and next days. -
Bookmarks.
This is the tool which allows users to add links to his favorite web pages. -
