Boolean Search Plug-in
Boolean Search allows your members to make a search and get more relevant results by using special rules during the search process, such as:

Search for all the words:
Search results will contain all the words you entered in search box. To get such kind of results you have to use 'AND' in your search request or '+' sign between the keywords. For example, if you want to find Yellowstone Park hotels then you have to enter in search box "Yellowstone AND Park AND hotels". -
Search for any of the words:
Search results will contain listings for any of entered words. To get such kind of search results you need to use "OR" between search words. For example: if you want to find canoes or kayaks, then enter "canoes OR kayaks" in the search box. -
Exact phrase search:
Search results will contain all the words entered in the same order as you entered them. To get such kind of search results you need to quote the text. For example you want to search for phrase "I have a dream". You have to enter in search box "I have a dream". -
Search results excluding words:
Search results will not contain specified words. To get such a kind of results you have to add 'NOT' or '-' between the search words. For example : You want to find flower arrangements but without roses. Then enter in search box following: "flower arrangements NOT roses". - Also user is able to change the priority of operators using brackets. For example: the following request - sport AND (cars OR bikes) will return listings about sport cars and sport bikes. E.g. all of results will include 'sport' and at the least one of the words 'cars' or 'bikes'.
If surfer doesn't know the rules of the search he can use a special form to construct the search query. Boolean Search plug-in gets query from the search box. Then the query analyzer mechanism starts and transfers the analyzed query to SmartPPC script.
Plug-ins Features:
- Ability to use special words (AND, OR, NOT, " ", "+", "-") in the search queries.
- Ability to filter out an offensive content.
- Ability to make a search in special parts of web pages, such as title, url, body.
In Boolean search rules for AND, OR, NOT, " ", "+", "-"are used. But we can add any other rules if you wish.
